Do tell, Mups 😉😬😬

As for Spencer, KC2, H&M, etc... who gives a monkey's.  Everyone's got skeletons in their closets.  Who cares??

I can imagine that Spencer himself has done a fair few dodgy things, given that he's on his 4th wife!!  Stones and glass houses, eh?

There is something wonderfully mediaeval about Earl Spencer .

His famous speech

His angry bearing .

One can imagine him on a white horse in full armour .

Scrumpy

Spencer tries to come over as a  ' I don't want to hurt anyone.. I could say more.. I know a lot of things.. But .. I am not here to do that.. '

And all the time he has that 'painful' look on his face.. Very similar to his sister..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Wearing a plume of white feathers and galloping away from the battle.

No I can't quite the opposite in fact

Dextrous63

Although loath to use it as a source, this does portray him in a somewhat less gallant and brave light...

I dislike both of them. Reminds me of World Cup final between Argentina and Germany , wanted both teams to lose.
The problem with being retired is that you never get a day off

Sorry if this upsets some of you BUT,
After watching Laura Kuenssberg's BBC interview with Charles Spencer, I found him entirely believable and exactly as petty and vengeful as you might expect from a brother who believes his sister was treated appallingly by her former in-laws.
The love between brothers and sisters is not spoken about nearly enough. If a brother genuinely believes his sister was wronged and, years later, finds himself in a position to settle the score, are we really surprised when he does?
Charles Spencer clearly doesn't care about the criticism, the monarchy or accusations that he is cashing in. Yes, the proceeds may help support Althorp, which his son will one day inherit with all its costs and responsibilities but money doesn't appear to be the real point.
He believes he is standing up for Diana.
Is it messy? Yes.
Petty? Probably.
Vengeful? Almost certainly.
But after everything he believes happened to his sister, can anyone truly blame him?

Dextrous63

No doubt he won't mind members of the families of his previous marriages doing the same to him then. 🤷🏻♂️

Very well  put Raven
Blood is thicker than water after all .
And at the end of the day Diana was wronged .
She was only human had faults and feelings like anyone else .
I expect she did feel alone among those cold and cliquey Windsors and their sycophants.

There's nothing like a family at war. I know that personally.

muddy

Thankfully most families wars are not broadcast to the entire world .

One has to wonder why he waited 29 years if it rankled so deeply. 🤷🏻♂️

Charles is old and unwell .
Spencer is also not young we don't know the state of his health .

If he doesn't say it now it will be too late .

Dextrous63

He could have said it from the word dot.  No need to wait.
